Paolo Galizzi Third in the QuadCross European Championship 2021

The last round of the European QuadCross Championship ended this weekend in the Czech Republic, in the Kramolin track, where the season was completed for Paolo after excellent results both in the national and international sphere.

The weekend saw Paolo close to the podium of the day with a fourth absolute position, managing and obtaining precious points that led him to the bronze medal at the end of the European championship.

The previous weekend Paolo also represented the Italian national team for the QuadCross Nations Trophy in France, in the Gueugnon track, together with his teammates Simone Mastronardi and Patrick Turrini. After the fourth position obtained on Saturdays in qualifying for the national team, on Sunday Paolo makes all the Italians dream winning race 1, while in race 2 a mechanical problem slowed him down as he occupied the second position, making him finish twelfth. A bit of bad luck also for his teammates during the heats, but despite everything, at the end of the day, Italy won silver and is vice champion at the QuadCross of Nations.

As for the Italian championship after the Gold conquer in the Sand Championship at the beginning of the season, the QuadCross championship ended with a race in advance for Paolo due to a small injury remedied in training, where it was preferred not to force for do not compromise the European Championship, thus concluding to the third final place.

Growing season for Paolo where he appears well throughout Europe, obtaining his first medal in the FIM European Championship.

Now a little break to then resume training on sand, where Paolo will line up at the start of some endurance races at the French Championship for training.
