A championship that declared AIROH off road helmets the big protagonists of the prestigious National Championship by an impressive hat trick in the Overall Classification.

In this seventh and eighth race day of the Italian Enduro Championship 2020, hit by Coronavirus pandemic, the authors of AIROH triumph were the two English riders of Team Beta Factory, Steve Holcombe and Brad Freeman, who ranked first and third in the parade, as the rider from Bergamo, Fiamme Oro, Thomas Oldrati (Honda-RedMoto) got on second place of podium.

The triumph of the company from Bergamo is confirmed by numbers too: in the Overall Classification with Holcombe got 5 first positions, 1 third and 1 sixth out of eight race days he disputed. Oldrati 1 victory, 1 second, 3 third, 2 fourth, 1 fifth. 5 are Freeman’s victories, 1 eighth and 1 ninth; the lost points counted a lot for his withdrawal on Sunday in Carsoli because of a fall.

Also KTM Factory official rider and multi-world champion Josep Garcia competed in Arma Di Taggia. On his return to races just one month after the fracture and the consequent surgical intervention on the left wrist, due to a fall, the Spanish didn’t disappoint the expectations, with limited gaps from the best riders, and ended sixth on Saturday and third on Sunday.

The Italian French Antoine Meo (Honda-RedMoto) is back to races too; on Saturday he seized the fourteenth position in the Absolute parade and on Sunday the thirteenth position in the Overall Classification. Meo will take part in the next two Grand Prix in Portugal.
