At the Red Bull Ring Andrea Locatelli finish in the points.

Eleventh and third of Italian riders, so ended the Austrian GP for Andrea Locatelli, Moto2 Airohrider at Spielberg's Red Bull Ring. He competed the eleventh round of the 2019 World Championship.

Andrea started from the sixth line of the grid after having completed the qualifications at a seventeenth position and managed with a careful race to recover several positions until he reached the eleventh final position, with a gap of about 10 seconds from the winner Binder. A race that was also characterized by several drops due in most of the time to contacts between the riders themselves. Andrea Locatelli with today's result consolidates the sixteenth position in the Moto2 Championship and approaches the Top10 which would be an excellent season result.

Maria Herrera instead, engaged in the MotoE, she has had to deal with the changed weather conditions that characterized the race which, unlike the qualifying, took place on a wet conditions. A real shame because the young rider from Oropesa, she had very well in qualifying, taking an excellent tenth place, about 1 second from pole position. However, unfortunately, after she maintaining a good position at the start, due to a setting that was not exactly perfect in relation to the new conditions of the track, she could not give his best by drawing back to the sixteenth final position.

For the MotoE Championship the next double event is scheduled for the race weekend of September 15th when at Marco Simoncelli Circuit of Misano Adriatico will host the GP of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera.
