An important weekend beyond the results, Edoardo Savino was back on track

Beyond the results, last weekend was very important, Edoardo Edo#31 Savino, was officially back on track, the young Airohrider that last April 25 had a very bad accident on the occasion of the first round of the CIV Junior in Magione; an accident that could have forced him to give up racing.

Edo, who with Airoh has already graduated twice Italian Champion and once European Champion of Minimoto, was able to present at the start of the test scheduled on the circuit of Modena and scoring the fourth time in practice, he started from the second row of the line-up. In Race 1, unfortunately, a gearbox problem forced him to retire during the first lap while in Race 2 Edo finished seventh only half a second from the podium.

In the UK, however, at the Knockill circuit, the second round of the BSB was held, Kyle Smith dominated the qualifying session of the Supersport600 by pole-position for the Sprintrace on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, Kyle, after leading the race from the start fell at the last lap. On Sunday, the English rider riding the new Triumph, ended fourth and with the points gained he confirms himself eighth in the overall rankings of the championship.

Always in Great Britain, but on the track of Mallory Park, was held the third round of the British F2 Sidecar Championship that saw the crew of Airohriders Found-Lowther. Alan and Jake scoring the fourth time in practice, riding their LCR Yamaha 600, ended the race on Saturday in the same position conquered on the grid while on Sunday they took a beautiful podium finishing second.
