Alessio Finello - Let the dream begin!

Presentation of the MotoE Gresini Team, for Alessio the beginning of a new adventure

Yesterday, at the team Gresini workshop, was held the presentation of the team, the spotlight has been turned on the 2022 season.

Alessio Finello, Airohrider from Turin, 23 years old coming from the CIV, is now moved up to the big league with his debut in the world championship in the saddle of an electric bike, with which he’ll participate in the FIM MotoE Cup.

Alessio will have Matteo Ferrari as teammate, the rider who, in the Green category of the Motorcycling world championship, has already conquered a world title and two podiums in the next two seasons. For Alessio it’s an excellent comparison terms to immediately understand the limits of this bike and to reach important placings.

“I’m so exciting, there’s no point in denying it – said Alessio during the Team Presentation -. I’m looking forward to this new adventure that will project me into the world championship. Seven double races, the same paddock to share with the MotoGP, new tracks to learn, a bike to understand, so a lot of new things all together. I feel at my best and I’ll face everything with the aim to get better step by step, without leaving anything to chance. I couldn’t ask more to this debut, a team that in 3 years won a world title and achieved two podiums, there’s no arguing. I’ve everything I need to do right, now it’s up to me.”
