Airohriders still rule the Women’s European Cup in Misano Adriatico

In Misano Adriatico on the MWC "Marco Simoncelli" track and at Los Arcos the Circuit of Navarre, the young Airohriders were engaged in the CIV championship and ESBK championship.

In Misano, once again, girls of the Woman’s European Cup dominated the race and consolidated the positions in the championship. Beatriz Neila, a Spanish rider from Madrid, after the pole position on Saturday she won the race by going in front of her compatriot and Airohrider Sara Sanchez and for a little gap off the podium, the Chilean Isis Carreño achieved the fourth position.

In the championship standings the top positions are all in favour of the Airohriders with the Sanchez that precedes in order Neila, then Ponziani and Carreño.

Also in Misano in the National Trophy 600 championship, Alessio Finello, at his first podium, and Manuel Bastianelli, in the special Ducati ranking, both ended at third place at the finish line.

Meanwhile in Spain, the riders of Team Austin Racing Gabriel Grass and Benat Fernandez were engaged respectively in PreMoto3 and in Moto4. In Saturday’s races they achieved a victory and a second place; on Sunday both of them also doubled the podium with two third places.

At Le Mans in the same French Grand Prix race weekend, Maria Herrera finished in tenth place. For the young girl from Toledo, back from forearm surgery, an excellent result that allows her to consolidate the eighth position in the world ranking.

Back to the weekend news, a nice podium achieved by the Founds-Lowther crew at Donington Park for the second round of the British F2 Sidecar Championship.

Small note: with the podiums gained during this weekend, the Palmares of Airoh Helmet, since 2018 has renewed its commitment in the onroad racing, has now exceeded 400 podiums.
