Internazionali d’Italia - Round 3 - Mantova

The third and final round of the Internazionali d’Italia was held in excellent weather conditions on the 'Tazio Nuvolari' track of Mantua, by the sandy bottom.

Jorge Prado: “It wasn't a big fall but I got a big hit, maybe from the handlebar, between the pit of my stomach and the breastbone and for a moment I felt out of breath. Then the pain took a long time to pass and for safety with the team we decided to have a check in the hospital and there were no problems”.

Mattia Guadagnini: “I felt good with the track and very well with the bike and I did a good time in qualifying, the first of my group. In the MX2 heat I made a great start and I was second when, due to my mistake, I made the bike turn off and I lost time by restarting beyond the twentieth position. On the next lap I also crashed and started next to last. I got a good pace and with good times I reached up to thirteenth place. Also in the Supercampione race with the MX1 riders I had a good start and I was around fifth position. Two riders with the 450 passed me and then I finished the race in sixth position. I am happy with the result and the race pace. The two races served for what we set out to do, that is to improve the feeling with the bike in racing conditions”.
